I am an engineer by mindset and a photographer by heart. Both of these tools shape most aspects of my life. I feel that my photography is very technical based and that when I shoot something, the results are deliberate. I want to view the world from a divergent perspective. It is my belief that if you want to make it as a photographer, you need to have the ability to shoot anything in any style and make it your own. Niche photography is becoming a thing of the past. Using technical knowledge gained from Engineering at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and photography classes, such as the complex View Camera course, I put my world on display.

The idea is to strive for a style that is a combination of studio and photojournalism. I rely on the technicalities of settings with the depth and complexity. I greatly enjoy two things: the difficulty of snapping the right shot in harsh lighting conditions such as live concerts, and playing with depth of field to create dynamic environments. I shoot solely with complete control of my settings; everything is intentional. Traveling and international experiences have helped mold my skills into what they are now. My body of work is in several different forms varying from film to digital, small to large format, weddings to musicians, portraits to studio work. I work primarily in the Milwaukee and Greater Chicagoland areas. I am always up for traveling with proper compensation.
